By organizing together, workers forced the provincial government to raise the minimum wage from $10.25 to $14 an hour. This is a huge win for all of us and it means workers have more money to make ends meet and small businesses have more customers.

We also won important improvements to the rules that better protect workers on the job. Unfortunately, the Conservative government rolled back many of our new rights, like paid sick days, equal pay, and a $15 minimum wage that should have taken effect on January 1, this year.
