University-Rosedale/Toronto Phone Zap: Where's our $15 federal minimum wage?

Join us for a quick and fun lunchtime action!

Last year, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's government promised to implement, in 2020, an indexed $15 minimum wage for workers in jobs regulated at the federal level. But it's nearly the end of the year, and workers *still* don't have this urgently needed increase.

Together, let's tell Justin Trudeau, Minister of Labour Filomena Tassi, and our local MP (University-Rosedale's MP is Chrystia Freeland) that we expect them to keep their promise to workers.

If you don't live in University-Rosedale, join us and call your own MP! Find your MP here: https://www.ourcommons.ca/members/en
This online action will start promptly at noon and will be finished by about 12:40, and we'll provide a script you can adapt.

RSVP here to get the Zoom link. Share widely, and see you there!
(P.S. Can't come on Saturday the 28th? There's another Toronto Phone Zap organized for Sunday, November 29th at 7pm, details here:
