Solidarity March in Support of Foodora Workers

Couriers working for Foodora, the international app-giant for food delivery, are fighting to unionize and win $15 & Fairness. Let’s do everything we can to make sure they win.

Because Foodora misclassifies them as “independent contractors”, these workers currently don’t have access to even the most basic labour protections such as sick days or employment insurance. If these workers are successful, it will be a breakthrough in organizing for workers in the “gig economy” and a huge step forward in the fight for decent work.

On Wednesday, join the University of Toronto $15 & Fairness Chapter, OPIRG Toronto and CUPE 3902 to march in solidarity with Foodora workers. We'll meet at 12:30 pm by the St. George Street entrance of the St George Street Station to travel together to Queens Quay West and Bay St. The march will start at 1:00 pm and head to Nathan Philips Square.
