Since coming into power, Premier Doug Ford has put our health at risk by cutting public services that we rely on and taking away our rights at work. We need both our provincial and federal representatives to prioritize healthcare for our communities.
We demand:
• Immediate reversal of cuts to healthcare and Legal Aid
• Universal access to OHIP, including for migrants
• Extended healthcare coverage for ALL, including dental, eye care coverage, and pharmacare
• Funding for a second fully-functional hospital in Brampton
• WSIB must listen to injured workers’ treating doctors
• 7 paid sick days and a $15 minimum wage for all
• Stronger labour laws to ensure our safety on the job, including protections for temp agency workers
