Our last meeting, we saw that there is a huge interest in discussing Kingston's Housing Crisis. At this meeting, we will be continuing that discussion and thinking through: a) how we can effectively demand that the city build geared-to-income housing, and b) how we can push back against landlords who are taking advantage of this low vacancy, high-demand market. We've invited an organizer from the Herongate Tenant Coalition to share some of their experiences with us!

This is the fourth meeting of the Decent Work Discussion Group; we meet on the 4th Monday of every month to discuss issues relating to labour, decolonization, anti-capitalism, social justice, and the environment. The meeting will be introduced by a short talk which will give a topic overview, followed by break out group discussion.

Will you come?
