Brampton residents will hold a rally on Wednesday, March 13 to sound the alarm on Bill 66, the dangerous omnibus bill, which will lead to more part-time, precarious jobs if passed. After reducing the fines for law-breaking employers, and cancelling Ministry of Labour's proactive inspections, the Ford government is now on a mission to remove important protections against excessive hours of work and unpaid overtime with Bill 66.
Many workers in Brampton already struggle with finding decent work because our region is flooded with temporary employment agencies, which offer little job security and no benefits. On March 13, constituents will send Brampton West MPP Amarjot Sandhu a clear message: defend our rights and commit to voting against Bill 66.
When: Wednesday, March 13. 5:00-6:00 PM
