We just learned that Bill 47 will go for a final vote at the provincial legislature on Tuesday afternoon. This dangerous law will cut the minimum wage and postpone $15 for seven years, eliminate paid sick days, reduce UNPAID sick leave, eliminate equal pay, as well as roll back most of our new labour rights.

Instead of holding our regular organizing meeting on Tuesday, we will be joining the Toronto assembly online for an opportunity to debrief, assess, and plan the next phase of resistance. If you can, please come a little before 7 so we can settle in before the debrief begins at 7 in Toronto.

Where: 25One Community (251 Bank Street), Blue Room (2nd floor).
When: Tuesday November 20th 7pm to 9pm

Tuesday is also the Transgender Day or Remembrance, and today the Ontario PC party launched a further attack on trans rights at their convention. We encourage everyone to join the Day of Remembrance first, and then come join us after: https://www.facebook.com/events/706212626416236/.

Will you come?
